OUR STORY
Our founder is Dr Jayashree K Bhat, a passionate ophthalmologist a meritorious student throughout her academics and a passionate woman and mother.
Though a specialist in eye care Dr Jayashree, was always that physician who believed in treating a person not like a set of organs but as a whole individual.
Someone who walks in with head ache, was not simply prescribed glasses but was preached about the stressing, good sleep, hydration etc. This habit of looking beyond the Eye lead her to start this centre which looks at holistic wellness.

Well…This is the vision of EYEDENTITY !
Even if people are otherwise healthy with no diabetes or hypertension, almost all of us suffer from stress, leading to skin blemishes, eye strain, overweight and/or underweight issues.
People resort to visit glorified beauty salons, and spend exuberant amounts on lavish creams and treatments which do not address root cause or provide long term solution.
Eyedentity aims to serve in this area, break myths, educate, and treat. We are advocates of preventive health .
One of the main missions of Eyedentity is public awareness, and preventive health care and to inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the health in self, families and society .
We undertake onsite wellness programmes for preschools, schools, colleges, corporates and citizen groups.
OUR JOURNEY SO FAR
Our journey began on 11/12/2013
and in last 8 years we have over 5000 happy patients More than 300 successful, latest cataract surgeries performed and more than 100000 public screened, educated and addressed about health particularly eye health.
We worked with Robert Bosch health care team to build the AI enabled Retinal camera .
Currently we are partnered with startups which look into clinical trials and innovations in health care.

In Feb 2021
We started the department of Ophthalmology in HCG , KR unit , Bangalore
Soon after we were involved in the mucormycosis ( Black fungus ) clinic at HCG and successfully treated over 100 patients affected with black fungus infection in the eye ..

MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS
Our founder Dr Jayashree was awarded in the Innovations category at the 2019 Annual woman’s Ophthalmology Congress. For her contribution to AI enabled retinal camera.
